In 2019 we celebrated 50 years of education at St Benedict's Catholic Primary School in Garforth.
Here is a snippet from the school log book of 1969 when Mr Jordan, the then headteacher, added the entry for the first day of the new school. The school community moved from St Joseph's School on Barleyhill Road on Thursday 27th February 1969.
