At St Benedict's we have an enriched curriculum that extends beyond the classroom. We believe that much valuable learning can take place through carefully planned experiences outside the school environment and therefore many educational visits are arranged.
The highlight of many children's school experience is our Year 6 3-day residential visit to Winmarleigh Hall. The centre provides high quality adventurous activities. Here the children undertake activities that take them out of their comfort zones and teach them both resilience and independence. Prior to the visit Year 6 also have an opportunity of a sleepover in school.

We were very pleased to undertake our Year 6 residential to Winmarleigh Hall last June 2021. All COVID safeguards were in place and we managed an incredible time with the children.
