Welcome to our Nursery at St Benedict’s Catholic Primary School, Garforth, where children are supported to settle happily, grow in confidence and develop a love of learning from the very start.
Our Nursery is open to families across Garforth and nearby communities, such as Aberford, Swillington, Ledsham and Micklefield. We currently offer up to 30 hours term-time only provision at our Nursery.
For the 15 Universal Hours provision, sessions are offered at the beginning or end of the week as follows:

If your child is entitled to the extended entitlement, they may attend for 30 hours, Monday to Friday 9:00 – 15:00.

We also offer paid Nursery sessions, charged at £4.30 per hour.
We provide Breakfast Club and after-school provision for our pre-school children to support working families.
After-school care is provided by Stepping Stones Day Nursery & Out of School Club, based at Elm Grove House, Halfpenny Lane, Pontefract WF8 4DA. Their dedicated key workers collect children safely from school each day, offering high-quality care in a nurturing environment until parents are ready to collect their children.
If you require wrap-around care, please inform the school once you have applied.
Warm school lunches are available for pre-school children at a small cost, or children may bring a packed lunch.

Pre-school pupils are invited to wear the school uniform.
